Terry Farley – DJとして既に活躍していた彼の正式なデビューはRun DMC/Beastie Boysのアフターパーティーである。Paul Oakenfoldからのオファーで、Tim Westwoodと共にプレイをしたのだが、彼はそこでの出来の悪さからHip-Hopが彼の音楽ではないと悟ってしまう。以降彼は様々な音楽の中からhouse music を見出しJUNIOR BOYS OWN（以下JBO）を創設することとなる。JBOはTerryと友人のAndrew Weatherall, Cymon Eccles, Steve Mayes, Steve Hallらにより創設され、アンダーグラウンドなhouseに関する雑誌、イベント、更にレーベルを立ち上げる。そして何よりもJBOはThe Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Xpress2など数多くのアーティストを世に送り出した事で知られている。TerryはJBOの活動の他、Pete Hellerとチームを組み、Robert Owens, New Order遂にはMichael Jacksonといった面々のremixを手掛け、音楽業界に旋風を起こす。また彼は1999年より友人のStuart Patterson, Dave Jarvis, Leo Elstob, Bill Brewsterらと共にFAITHという名のパーティーを開始。FAITHはロンドンのThe Key, Turnmills, Ministry of Sound 等有名なクラブで行われ、最近のゲストにはDixon, Ame, Dennis FerrerそしてKarizmaらを迎えている。多忙な彼は今年既に上海、ドバイ、バンコクでのプレイを行い、NRK recordsよりXpress2のRockyとのコラボレーションでThe Cobraを製作。

2008年はJUNIOR BOYS OWNにとって新しい幕開けとなるはずだ。なぜなら、Defected recordsよりJBOの名曲たちが世界初、デジタルでのリリースが決定！またJBOより新譜やリミックスも間もなく発売される予定である。

Terry Farley – Terry’s first real gig was when Paul Oakenfold booked him to DJ at a Run DMC/Beastie Boys after party, alongside Tim Westwood, he claims he was awful and at that point realized hip-hop wasn’t his route! Along came house music and JUNIOR BOYS OWN; the fanzine/the parties/the record label, created by Terry and his mates Andrew Weatherall, Cymon Eccles, Steve Mayes and Steve Hall. JBO was responsible for discovering acts such as The Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Xpress2.
Remix wise Terry formed an extensive partnership with Pete Heller, which saw many a long night twiddling nobs for the likes of Robert Owens, New Order and Michael Jackson to name but a few.
FAITH was started in 1999 with pals Stuart Patterson, Dave Jarvis, Leo Elstob and Bill Brewster. Running parties at clubs such as The Key, Turnmills and Ministry of Sound in London. Recent guests have included Dixon, Ame, Dennis Ferrer and Karizma.
At the moment Terry has new productions out via NRK records including a collaboration with Rocky from Xpress2 (The Cobra). A busy DJ schedule has seen Terry play in Shanghai, Dubai and Bangkok already this year.

2008 also sees the re-launch of JUNIOR BOYS OWN records with a new deal via Defected records. The entire JBO back-catalogue will be released digitally for the first time and new productions and remixes will soon follow under the JBO banner!…….
